Offboarding a fractional Chief of Staff
One of the most rewarding (and bittersweet) aspects of working as a fractional Chief of Staff is knowing that your role is temporary by design. I have the privilege of partnering with some incredible clients—leaders who have taken bold steps to transform their businesses.
At some point, my chapter with them comes to an end. While there’s always a twinge of ambivalence in wrapping up, I remind myself: the goal of my work isn’t permanence—it’s progress.
